An internet browser is an application which displays internet pages written in a programming language called HTML. Two of the most popular internet browsers include "Internet Explorer" and "Netscape Communicator". Each internet browser has a menu at the top of the application to help you navigate through the multiple pages. Outlined below are some of the menu icons you may use:

  • BACK: to return to the previous page
  • FORWARD: to go to the next page you have already seen
  • STOP: to stop loading the current page
  • REFRESH: to reload the current page
  • HOME: to return to the starting point
  • FAVORITES: to open a saved web page
  • PRINT: to print the current page
